I left my job

So, last year. Things at my job got terrible. So I left. I worked about 16 hours per day, at a pay rate that was reduced during covid then never increased again. Cost of living went up and things got bad. I didn't have a life anymore. Since then, well... I still kinda don't have a life. But the quality of that non-existent life has been much better.

I avoid what I think most consider a life. It’s not fun for everyone! I like my space, a lot.

You have to do what's best for you.

why did people let the greedy employer get away with that????? sounds like it would be take your crowbar to work day. 🧨
@trackboy that'd be illegal.

@DisappearingTide being made to work 16 hours a day is illegal. 🍪

16 hours a day oh my that’s too long
@Jenny1234 It had been going on for months and my mental health was in the drain

@DisappearingTide I can’t even imagine how hard it must have been. I work 6 hour days and I think those are too long
@Jenny1234 I've done 12 hour shifts before and that's not bad because I didn't work every day. But sunday to sunday 16 hours was way too much.
