Roommate problems!

So my roommate comes home drunk every night and eats my food even tho I have "don't eat Adams food!" On it yet they still eat it! And lie about o I can't read or I didn't read it! Should I just start making enough food that equals up to rent and then charge them for my time and efforts it took me to eat it along with the amount of money that went into the food!?
