Is there any way to fix my sleeping schedule?

How can people have so much self discipline???

... How is it possible...?

Brain: the answer is infront of you my friend.

People are too focused on fixing their mess surrounding them (In your case is ur room). And so they simply don't have the time to overthink their choices. Because hardwork beats hardthink.

It's good to have a plan, but overthinking it I have found in my experience that I end up not carrying out that plan.

If you want to fix that sleep schedule, I will try to offer some advice.

The first thing you'd want to do is, figure out what time you need to be awake by. In my case, I have to be awake by 5:00am. I want 8 hours of sleep, so I will count backwards by 8. That gives me an answer of 9. So, technically I should be asleep by 9:00pm. In order for that to actually happen, I should be in bed by about 8:30pm.

Here's what really happens for me:

I get in bed at 10:00pm or 10:30pm, I have an alarm that goes off at 5:00am, and another alarm that goes off at 5:10am, my clocks are 10 minutes fast, but typically I will stay in bed until 5:25am, constantly hitting snooze. My drive to work is very short, so I could leave here with 20 minutes before the start of my shift and I'd still be good, as long as there's no issues on the roads, and no issues with the car.

For me, it is extremely difficult to get off the computer to get into bed. That's my only problem. I've had it to where my computer would auto shutdown at the time I should be asleep by, but I would constantly cancel the auto shutdown, which defeats the purpose of it. But once the computer is shutdown for the night, I won't go turning it back on.

I have heard of another way to fix a sleep schedule, but I'm hesitant to use that information anymore because I read a story that says getting the right amount of sleep, and having a regular sleep schedule ties into dementia and Alzheimer's. With how I'm progressing in my life right now, things aren't looking so great.

So try to get good sleep, lest you want to risk problems in the future. I always used to hear guys talk like, "oh I'll get enough sleep when I'm dead" and "yeah I only get 4 hours sleep a night" yeah okay. You won't be getting sleep, you'll be dead. Not sure who comes up with these sayings, but geez.
