Would you trade free concert for swats

A friend bought us tickets to go see a band at a casino a few miles from where I live. Problem is I’m grounded and when i asked dad if I could go since my friend already bought us the tickets, he said the only way is for me to take six swats with the paddle. Would you take the swats?
