Who lives like this!?!? My wife has more alerts on her phone than the national weather service! I can't let one sit for more than a second and I have to clear it, anyone with me on this insanity?

I don't have any reason to check my email apart from when I'm signing up somewhere or I forgot my password, so even if I could see the numbers on my phone, I'd still just them go up because I'd find it more tedious and annoying to have to check my email constantly for emails I know I don't care about.
