Why is raising money so hard?

It seems like unless you are dying or a beauty queen or a millionaire, nobody donates to help out others unless they meet a certain criteria. It is so unfair. How much suffering can a person endure before nothing matters anymore???

people donate to causes they are interested in or really care about. I've only donated to children's charities so far

If you want them to be interested, you have to find a way to make it appealing and tell people how their money will help so they know there's some hope and that they're making a difference

@SW-User I have tried everything. They want you to look like a movie star and be dead in order for anyone to care. I suffer because I don't meet society standard for donations. It's very disheartening and sad. No programs help either. Not in Wisconsin.
