Have you ever had to panhandle?

I am getting to the point where I will wheel down to the end of the block and panhandle. How else can I get money ASAP? Cash app doesn't seem to work, even though it makes the most sense. $MrsJRuth if you care to help. Our laundry is so dirty and we need toothpaste and toilet paper and dish soap. Will you assist? God Bless you even if you choose not too. Going to a church is not an option, it would take a week, so that wouldn't make any sense. Good day

If you have an Amazon wish list, or give out a location I'm sure people will be willing to help you. I'm not a fan of giving people money. A lot of cities, even small cities have food banks. Also depending on the cities places like little cesears will leave their 'reject pizzas' out for people who need it.

Another suggestion if you're in well enough health talk to your local plasma bank, donate some plasma.
@UnholyTranquility We don't have a car. We live across the street from Festival Foods. That's why cash works, because we can get there.
@UnholyTranquility I can't donate plasma. I pass out on the table and the three buses it takes to get home. My husband can't donate. He had Cancer twice, otherwise we would. I had to stop a long time ago because I am animic.
@UnholyTranquility I don't have Amazon

@MissyRu53 I'll see what the social worker at the place I voulenteer at can suggest, when she's in the office tomorrow. As I'm not sure what I can do personally. I can bother her for resources though.

@MissyRu53 np we're still figuring stuff out. I've been in and out of the ER myself the past few days.
@UnholyTranquility I hope you are alright

@MissyRu53 Just a bit of a stomach bug one of my students and/or one of my own children passed to me. Nothing serious, minus the fact that eye gets blurry when I'm sick (and with one eye its not easy to see or type).

I got to hear back from her and one of her major suggestions is talking to any local social worker, as she's usually only working with kids that age out of the shelter and need to find somewhere to go.
@UnholyTranquility I just can't win. I would rather work, and it hurts that I can't be like I used to be. I don't choose to be disabled. The government just chooses to ignore it and make me suffer year after year. Pretty cruel if you ask me.
