That was scary

I woke up at 4 am last night and the entire building was shaking. It lasted for like 10 seconds. Earthquakes are common here but this one was a bit intense I've never experienced one like this before not here and not ever.
In some parts of the city and other cities which got hit harder people were told to evacuate, they send warnings on phones and they recently put sirens. They say 50 people were injured in other cities.

I don't want to die in this country this is crazy. My heart just kept beating like crazy. I don't think it can get so bad because the buildings are built with special standards that can withstand quakes but I don't want to experience that ever. I never hated elevators or higher-floor apartments like I do right now. I miss living in ground floor where the only thing that separated me from the street was a couple of doors and a ramp.
