A lot of problems would disappear, if we would just talk to each other, and not about each other.

But the tongue, can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it, will eat its fruit. Meaning....The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to gossip, will reap the consequences. Proverbs 8:21

Proverbs 17:4 - A wicked doer gives heed to false lips; and a liar gives ear to a naughty tongue.

Proverbs 11:13 “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.”

Titus 3:2 - To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, [but] gentle, showing all meekness unto all men. James1:26 - If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Proverbs 26:20 - Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
