I think I new a new job :(

Finally got into a position of a good paying job, but one huge problem... mentally, I'm not sure I can do this job... not from a difficult standpoint, but from a mental burnout standpoint.

I'm just staring at a computer screen all day, and have to deal with people that are NEVER happy (as my job is to evaluate their work and tell them how they've made mistakes and need to correct them)...

And this is over months and some want constant feedback or want to argue about it... like it's not personal, I'm just trying to teach you how to stay out of trouble...

Looking forward... I believe what's best, is to stay in this job another 14 months... (assuming I get the promotion (which I think is locked in)) I can then transfer to a different part of the company and still get paid well, but hopefully be doing something different... hopefully not involving telling people what they're doing is wrong.

But I've been mentally struggling as it is, the last couple of months... 14 more months is a long freaking time to wait...

Oh, I can imagine what you mean. I'm the one who is sending work and have it returned for corrections so I can imagine how much frustration you sometimes have to face from others. I'm never rude but I could tell the person who was on that position before had a hard time telling me I had to redo something.

Sounds difficult

More money usually means more work or responsibility, sometimes its just not worth it in the long run

@Justenjoyit I think I'm just an introvert and like dealing with the same group of people, not an always rotating door of people...

Also having to tell them what they did wrong and how to do it right sucks... as they argue...
