The police are useless.

I tried checking on my guinea pig and I got told there's no way to know who my ex narc was arrested with. I was going to have the police check in with my guinea pig to see if I could pick it up as there had to be some address for the guy arrested with my ex but I got told there's no way to know that which I highly doubt because there had to be some notes on the record. Whatever. The only hope I got now is that the guinea pig is somewhere safe and sound. At least it's not with them anymore but if she kicked them out and even kept their animals with her (like the dog in his possession) it's likely that she's a semi good person. She didn't keep them around after violating her boundary with her son so that must mean something.

At least that's what I want to believe, I don't even know if the guinea was even at her house that could have been a lie told to me when I asked the brother but for now I'll accept that as an answer. It has to be good enough because I'm sick of worrying. Maybe I found out for a reason and the fates wanted me to know it was in good hands, who knows?

All I know is that police are useless.

can you somehow talk to your ex to find out where the guinea pig is?

@Penny My ex is wanted on a warrant so he's hiding but there's nothing unusual about that and his dad has part dementia, at least that's what I was told. His dad is lucid enough to live with random women on facebook so I never bought it, his dad does have issues though. Extreme hoarding and narcissism.

I found out my guinea "MIGHT" be in the area through my ex's brother, he told me that him and his dad went to live with some random woman and my ex got caught drunk driving with the son of the woman his dad was staying with. They crashed the car and she got mad, kicked them out, then apparently she kept the animals that were with them. One was a dog and I think my guinea pig.

But they're all pathological liars, I tried to get this woman's name out of the brother (my supposed friend) but he said he didn't remember though I know that's bullshit. Hard to really say but I just know he lies. They're the type of family that will say they hate each other but then cover for each other as well.

So I went to the cops and asked if they could somehow get the address of the guy who was arrested with my ex and maybe ask him about his mother and if she has my guinea pig, I don't even have a name I just thought that maybe it was on his record or something. There has to be some kind of statement from the police about who my ex was arrested with and an address on file.

They could check but they told me there's no way of knowing was their words, that they told me there's just no way they can do that.

@SatanBurger aww sorry :( hopefully the woman is good with pets

@Penny Yeah I'm hoping, the best outcome is that my guinea is with her somewhere. The worst outcome is that my ex's brother lied about the guinea being in my state at all and my ex just left it somewhere. I don't want to think about it like that though and wish for the best. I'll forever live with the fact that when I left his father's house in a daze, I left the guinea behind. I had every intention to come pick it back up but the area they were in at that time period was harder to go back to being 10 hours away with no air conditioning.
