I'm gifted with a strong analytical and observant mind. I have the ability to analyze a situation, understand a process, complex or not, and find solutions to problems or optimization very quickly. I'm very good at "seeing the forest through the trees" as the saying goes. In my mind, I can step back mentally from a situation, and look at it from a distance, which allows a perspective not obvious to most. Then I'm stuck waiting for everyone else in the discussion to understand my explanation - often leads to detailed explanation as to how I arrived at my analysis. When I'm pressed for time, I can get frustrated. I need patience, which is where I struggle. Especially when there is only 30 minutes for a meeting and I worried most are going to leave the meeting feeling lost. Even worse, I think the meeting was ineffective knowing people will leave the meeting and not follow the guidance I provided. When I'm responsible for the outcome, this can lead to frustration. I just need to learn to have patience.
