Do people make you nervous?

I'm so unintentionally awkward. Its not that I don't like to socialize. It's when I have an opportunity to talk to someone, I get so excited that I say something wrong or I fumble my words or act absolutely stupid. what's wrong with me haha

I'm introvert most of the time unless it is someone I've known a long time. I find it hard to talk to ppl on a one on one basis
