If Jesus died for our sins, why do women still suffer the punishment of childbirth?

Eating is a physical gain. Gives you energy and lets you grow. No pain physical or mental there.
So there's "literally everything" refuted.
It's also beside the point. The pain of childbirth was a punishment for eve's sin. Not an unavoidable bi-product.
So if jesus died to absolve us of our sins, why are women still being punished for eve's sin?

Actually it is particularly painful for humans because of our upright stance changing the dynamics of the pelvis and our relatively large heads. Prior to the modern era many women died in childbirth. In genesis we are told that God arranged this pain and trouble as punishment for Eve and her daughters
