I Have a Question

If Jesus died for our sins, why do women still suffer the punishment of childbirth?

Eating is a physical gain. Gives you energy and lets you grow. No pain physical or mental there.
So there's "literally everything" refuted.
It's also beside the point. The pain of childbirth was a punishment for eve's sin. Not an unavoidable bi-product.
So if jesus died to absolve us of our sins, why are women still being punished for eve's sin?

Because he never lived maybe? Actually there is a physical or mental pain in eating think of prepping that food there is physical and for some chefs mental pain in that. It may be minimal so much so that you can't feel it but it's still there and is proportional to the gain

"for some people sometimes"

lol sorry, not a compelling counterargument.
And no, the "pain"of microwaving a burrito is not proportional the caloric benefits it gives you.

Oh and whats this? Breathing provides physical gain. Allows you muscles to function and keeps your brain alive. And shit, sometimes it just feels good.
Where's the physical and mental pain there?
You want to go back to "some people sometimes" and talk about people with pneumonia or do you want to admit that your assertion was blatantly fallacious?
SW-User
I was talking about the mental side. There is always physical pain ie carrying the plate to the microwave witch causes tiny tiny rips in your muscles and the burrito then gives you physical gain by riding the rips then giving you energy.
Breathing again muscles work to allow that and they get very sightly damaged doing that so physical pain for gain
SW-User
And you talk about eating a burrito as if it's a great gain while it can actually be a burden and in a way more pain for the gain of the taste

@PaddyBhoy

Well now you're talking about imperceptible damage. That is not at all the same thing as pain.

Injury (and absurdly minute in this example) is physical damage. Pain is a sensation.
Are you going to keep moving the goal posts or just admit you spoke rashly?
SW-User
It is pain just a tiny tiny amount way bellow a normal persons threshold but for example if you look at someone who has had an accident or something serious and have been in a coma for months you'll see that when they wake up everything is a lot more painful and simply lifting their arm can be agony

@PaddyBhoy

Aaaaaand were back to "some people sometimes"

You're plainly not going to admit you spoke thoughtlessly even if it means clinging to an absurd definition of pain and repeating that in special circumstances you might be right.

Sorry dude, i can't do this anymore.
Bye bye

Okay if you can't accept science and choose to believe if a man in the sky you're clearly a bit simple. Bye
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@PaddyBhoy: Hahaha omg "believe in a man in the sky" haha perfect response. I agree, the other guy has no idea what he's talking about.

@PaddyBhoy

lol what gave you the impression that i believe in the bible?
This was actually a question for christians to answer within the framework of their holy book.
But i guess that went right over your head.

Speaking of being a bit simple...

lol off you go

@AnonymousJSS

lol see my response to paddybhoy, genius
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@UnparalleledMonster: Yes, I won't say it wasn't. But I will say you did give the impression that you're at least a believer in God. Both you and the other guy were first talking about pain, then both got into just talking about senses
SW-User
@UnparalleledMonster: you constantly said things like 'The pain of childbirth was a punishment for eve's sin' how that doesn't give the impression you believe in the bible i dont know
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@PaddyBhoy

I guess you just assumed.
And you know what happens when you assume...
