I Have a Question

Has anyone ever almost been hit by a firecracker before? I went to this church tonight that was 2 blocks away, i usually just go to their services, tonight was the first time i went to this woman's meeting, usually they do something further away and i dont drive so theres no buses coming back, they did pizza and a movie, anyways, when i was walking back this girl was staying with someone a block away from me so she walked back with me, when i was crossing one of those small streets all of a sudden i had to move fast cause fireworks were coming right at me, literally, it landed almost right next to me, i couldnt see exactly what street it was so i asked the girl exactly what street is was and she told me, couldnt see who was throwing it, it was too dark and it couldve been coming from blocks away anyways, i was beyond ticked and it scared me too, i didnt have my trac fone with me and i doubt my friend had one cause she was staying with someone cause of being homeless. and yes, when i got home i did call the police, and told them about it, i didnt want some other innocent bystander getting hit with it, i heard fireworks when i first got home but then it stopped so im hoping the police found them, and i dont care if people know i called them, they deserved it. its bad enough fireworks make noise but worse when one almost hits you, i think someone upstairs was protecting me to be honest. not sure why they were aiming it there where it could hit people. i didnt call the police cause of the noise, i called them cause if it almost hit me it could hit someone else too, so has anyone ever had this happen?
