I Have a Question

How do i tell my friend id rather not sit with her at the senior center all the time especially since lately she keeps sitting next to someone id rather not sit with.

the person she sits with all the time is in a scooter, but unfortunately she does not know how to drive it. back in jan she drove it over my foot and left it swollen for months. she apologized but at the same time claimed she didnt have enough rm to get by, not sure what kind of apology that was.

my friend has somehow taken a liking to her, the thing is shes always saving me a seat which is nice but always seems to pick the same table this person is at. last wk she literally drove her scooter right into the table and almost tipped it over while we were all sitting there. today she did the same thing only not as bad, i feel like im being rude if i tell her id rather sit elsewhere but i dont want to sit next to someone that dont drive their scooter properly and i always feel like im in harms way. i cant even get a drink or nothing if shes driving that thing around, i get out of her way till shes done and then get my drink or salad or whatever. sometimes ive wondered if she does this on purpose. i dont want to sit with this person constantly cause she dont know how to drive the thing so im trying to keep my distance so i dont get hurt again. so how do i tell her its nothing personal but i need to keep my distance. any suggestions?
Dearest Pearl!! I only have one suggestion. You can think about it.

Friendship is a very very precious thing. One must do everything to keep and maintain that friendship forever.

Since the lady has apologized to you, even though she is not good at apologizing, may I suggest that for the sake of your own heart, you forgive her trust, and start to make friends with her. Maybe this will end up as a three way friendship, which is more fun and you will have two friends, instead of none (since you are willing to stop sitting next to this one too).

Forgiveness is the sweetest thing and it makes us even more happy.

Get your own scooter at rent a scooter and then take it to the center. Roll over her scooter and knock her over and say, oh scooter chick I'm so sorry. I'm just learning to drive this thing and there wasn't enough room for both of us. Then have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the dinner and catch the cloth and pull her food off the table. Again say oh honey. I'm so sorry. I'm learning to control this thing. She will get the picture.
