I Have Something to Say

We're at the mall, my kids ran into two other kids with their parents that are their friends and so we're gonna have lunch together.
But the other kids asked their parents if they could sit with me and my kids
(Does that make me the cool parent?)
Seems like the kids usually prefer going out with us when we go to the park, or football games, the movies or etc.
idk if I should be honored or scared? This probably means when they're in high school they're all gonna hang out at my house lol

I probably won't mind at all as long as I know they're safe in my house then getting into trouble out on the street.

When my oldest is 18 I'll be 36.
I'm probably the younger of the moms in his class too so maybe that's why?

Plus I don't mind having lots of kids around lol
I've always wanted a big family
But since I haven't been able to bring a baby to term since having my 7 yr old my kids having lots of friend over (at reasonable times) will be ok for now
Until we figure out if we're going to foster/adopt or find a surrogate.

Maybe it's because I'm still young. I think my son and his best friend have been the only ones honest with me the his best friends mom about when they have a crush 😳 They often say that their other friends can't talk to their parents like they do.
I just don't understand it, kids should feel like they can have an open dialogue with their parents. Always.
But that's just my opinion.
