I Have Something to Say

We're at the mall, my kids ran into two other kids with their parents that are their friends and so we're gonna have lunch together.
But the other kids asked their parents if they could sit with me and my kids
(Does that make me the cool parent?)
Seems like the kids usually prefer going out with us when we go to the park, or football games, the movies or etc.
idk if I should be honored or scared? This probably means when they're in high school they're all gonna hang out at my house lol

I probably won't mind at all as long as I know they're safe in my house then getting into trouble out on the street.

Did you ask their parents to join you. Get to know their parents at least

Yes I did but they didn't want to they had other people with them one of the kids had their aunt and uncle and the other kids mom had the kids grandma with them.

I've met the kids parents before we've chatted once in a while at school functions at the park etc.

@bhatjc: thanks. Most of the parents in my kids class are in their late 30's I'm 29 so there is an age gap. I think they think that they don't have much in common with me but we actually do because our kids are the same age. I don't have the party life style that some (not all) young mothers have.

My sons best friends mom is my moms age! Needless to say she's a very nice lady and we do have coffee together during play dates - I feel like I get little to no judgement from her vs the other parents. She's very comfortable having her kid over my house or even having my 2 boys over hers. Her youngest (middle) daughter is my age, so there is a 18yr gap between her youngest daughter and her baby boy.
I think maybe she too feels some judgement from the moms in the late 30's range.

Sometimes people miss out because of their judgements.

That is true. I had a cousin. who's older sister had a child a year younger then her.

@bhatjc: it's odd for some people but people have children young and others later in life and sometimes kids come when they're unexpected
I was told I'd never concieve naturally but I have concieved 8 pregnancies naturally unfortunately after having my first two children the others resulted in losses. Even though we tried everything we could it just didn't happen. I don't know if it will ever happen again but I count my blessings with my two children and I feel blessed to have carried my angels even though I could not keep them on earth with me.

My moms youngest brother is the same age as my oldest cousin (40) my brother is 37 this year - i grew up thinking our uncle was our cousin 😂

You are still young miss tristemuneca. Keep trying if you want to . But you have your two lovely kids. Be the best mother for them.

I That is what i thought my cousin and her niece where the same.

@bhatjc: not sure about the trying again. I don't think I can put my body and my family though the anxiety of another pregnancy.

Thank you for your kind words
