Not going to spend the rest of my life hating people who were nasty to me at school and I don't want them to have bad lives because of it either.

Didn't work that way for me unfortunately. All those that bullied me all live perfectly happy successful lives and in love and are making babies. What happened to me after years of torture, I became a dangerous criminal, a drug addict, work my arse off and still below the poverty line, 3 failed relationships later. Here I sit all alone trying to fight off the thought of shooting my feet out of my head.
