divorced ppl: what mistakes did u or or partner make that ultimately led to divorce?

Sometimes they don't necessarily "do" anything but it gets really old feeling more alone in a relationship then when u r single. U can feel the unwanted gestures and the fake smiles and the only time words are spoken is when it's about the kids needs and there isn't any hugging or kissing or joking around anymore. That can cut deeper then most words and it can be deafening to listen to silence! Sometimes it's what's not going on that's the problem. Not everyone screams at the top of their lungs but a lot of us would write a big check to see him or her do that just once cause at least they would be showing some kind of care about something or mayb the slightest interest. Fighting without saying a word is mental disaster cause ur only position is to think and think some more until the day you find out he's been planning on moving out for months but he just forgot to tell you about it and he says he just didn't want to fight. Hell at least you could recognize that..... so instead u beat him to the punch and leave 1st hoping u held onto a shred of ur dignity. But probably not tho.

Oh i left mine following an assault that left me in hospital for a month !
Why would she leave him if things are ok ?
I guess she feels that if she wants something different out of life it's not going to be with her husband.
Sad but it does happen.

One thing that has motivated me to leave "nice guys" is being taken for granted.
