is it a problem im materialistic?

I love to live good...im not a gold digger. Everything i have i worked for it

Living well is not the same as materialism, since someone who is materialistic is consumed and defined by the acquisition of things. Enjoying the fruits of your labor is not any less virtuous than the monastic-like existence of a minimalist, since we all have our preferences. When "stuff" consumes your views, then it's a problem.
I would find that to be a problem. Personally, I agree that it's always nice to live comfortably..., but you can't take the material things with you once your time is up.

I work to keep the strong bonds that I have with my family members--just as much as I do to keep paying off my car, clothes, etc.

Unless you're sacrificing other things in life to chase material possessions.

@hugosfbay: I figured as much. Just don't get caught up in the status quo until all of a sudden you're an old man with everything you could want and nobody to share it with :)
