The best part of long distance relationships for me was not having to be looked at/touched by anyone if I was having a particularly shitty day in terms of my self-esteem, but I know that I'm probably in the minority. Making plans for the future was also fun.
Worst being not being able to express your love for someone else in all the traditional sorts of ways, not knowing if someone's cheating on you or talking to someone else, not knowing if something is going to happen to the Internet connection or if something is going to come up that takes them away, time zone difference, yadda yadda.
