It's quite sickening and disturbing when you read a 50 year old commenting really weird on someone that's a minor. I don't know if they don't have daughters, or just don't know better. Different people have different reasons. I have a few friends here who are younger. I'm also happily married and really just like talking to people from different walks of life.

However, there is a major problem with men bothering women on here with explicitly sexual messages, or trying to be 'friends' but with a sexual agenda. It's creepy, it's harassment, and I'd love to see it stop. This should be a fun place for everyone and that makes it a lot less fun.

I can't speak for other men, but I have female friends as many as 13 years older and 44 years younger in the real world.

I often don't know the age of online friends, ever, as I typically never meet them in person. Of online friends I have actually met, the greatest age gap so far was 9 years younger.

I reply to anyone who PMs me on SW. I never ask women for pics who have never sent any. A few have sent at least one. Most send none, and that's OK since we will most likely never meet, anyway.

Some of the younger women on SW really need friends they can count on. My friendship never has any strings attached to it. My only expectation is that they never lie to me.
