Just be happy we live in systems where we can both think it and say it out loud. In most places, in most of history, you can't/couldn't...

Don't worry, then: I think he'll enact the policies he ran on. I'd be more concerned with the fact that they won't produce the results he's claiming for them, and will in many cases be counterproductive ...

@Shattered: the trade stuff will do more harm than good. The immigration stuff is 90% likely to backfire. The budget stuff (tax cuts and spending) will be loads of fun until the bills come due in about 3 years.

@Stereoguy: I understand. Facts are difficult things. Just because something is "true", in the sense that you can actually go out and gather the numbers demonstrate it with data, doesn't make it "truthy", in the sense that Donald Trump can claim it and a lot of people will believe it.

Most likely though is that he'd slog through ankle deep water, while flipping the bird, and claim that he'd walked on it, and then blame the media for not treating it like the second coming ...
