People who refuse to watch boxing or MMA because it is too violent, yet love watching NFL football...

Hypocrites??

the point of football isn't to hurt anyone. Boxing is like they're literally getting paid to hurt someone else. So it's not really the same.

Not that I care because I hate both, just wanted to point that out.

Not even in the same ball park !
Guys padded up and following a series of rules is one thing.
Two guys giving each other potential brain haemmorages without considering either the risks or consequences is moronic.

I don't think the aim of American football is to hurt them to quite the same degree as boxing

Sure, people get hurt in football, but it's not necessarily as intentional, nor is it as harsh. Plus there is 'variety' in football, as boxing is more of the same. All you are watching is people punching each other. (just my opinion, anyway)

I dont like watching football but I like the blood sports.

I don't know, NFL telecasts have a massive amount of filler. If you watched only the actual football and skipped all the other stuff it would be like 15 minutes it seems.

Honestly I don't care about fighting. Personally it's me enjoying the game is set up. There's nothing to label people about these things.

With boxing and fighting you can see their injuries and blood. With football they are too far away and change cameras
