Why it is that being kind is meant to be a weak person.

Because we are seen as a soft touch or easy mark. I am kind until I sense they are starting or trying to take advantage of me. So I've learned to set better boundaries. You can be kind and still say no. Besides that's being kind to you. You deserve kindness too :)

It is not that being kind makes you a weak person. However, knowing your boundaries and being able to say "hey, no. That is not going to happen" makes you stronger.

Because there are always people that are not kind looking to take advantage anywhere they can!

Keep your self that way along with developing good judgement of people. There is saying "Always be caution of those, who you have help".
