I'm genuinely confused. If liberals talk about tolerance and against hate. Then why the unmerciful hatred for Trump?

Don't give me politics. Explain why the Hate.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F Best Comment
I can't. I am not a liberal and seriously do not uderstand it either. To me it seems if we agree with them...they'll be tolerant and accept us just fine. If we don't agree...we are racist, ignorant, deplorables without a brain who deserve to be called names and jumped physically and intellectually. Boggles the mind... And so - *sigh* - let the hate mail begin as it has so many times here for stating an honest opinion.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
That's exactly it, Abe. Sad. Thanks for BA!
katielass · F
@LadyBronte: We know what we face but we can never allow them to shut us down or shut us up. We MUST persevere and exercise our First Amendment right or it will be taken from us. It starts with one little word. One word.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@abe182: then you also get condescending and stupid. "Live in the bubble" the bubble? I think the bubble is the one where people believe FAKE, FALSE information because they are mad at the government and refuse to "be nice" to them or anyone who believes in government processes. The bubble where guns are needed to protect against...the evil government and those evil liberal snowflakes. One moment we are snowflakes the next we are hateful heathens. Lol make up you damn mind.

You will have to block me after this one abe because I an frankly done with your utter hypocricy and bs.

JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
The only hypocrits I see are those who support Trump. There are certain things I can look past to find the greater good or give the benefit of the doubt and then there are things I cannot. Racism in any form. Sexism. Idiocy. In my mind the President of this country should behave in a refined manner. Not spewing bullshit from his mouth and insulting the very people he claims to want to work for. Make NO mistake. He is a public servant...he works for US. NOT the other way around. It was the crass way he simply decided he is better than anyone ever...the narcissitic crap. His tweets. If he could tone it down. Convince me he will work for ALL of us and NOT JUST HIMSELF..but he is too busy worrying about SNL and Meryl Streep.

STOP calling those who do not support Trump liberals. There are plenty of people who are against Trump who are far from that...I would not even call myself liberal...but because I oppose him I am automatically liberal.

Republicans claim they want to stop corruption but they are filled with it and do not want to call their own on it..they only want to call the dems on it.

Drain the swamp? Then fill it with billionaires...a lot of whom have ZERO qualifications for the position.

None of this gives me reason to give the man any benefit of the doubt.

@JaggedLittlePill: @abe182: I agree with JLP, especially on the charter point. Put his politics aside, he is an embarrassment. The way he carries himself and responds like a child to people on social media with mocking and name calling. The things that come out of his mouth, his self importance, I just shake my head at that. That being said, I don't hate anyone.

Hold on.... just read Soosie's response. Ditto that!
abe182 · 46-50, M
@Archiesgirl: I'm talking about the people who HATE. Not dislike. I thought I made that clear but I guess not. If you don't HATE him then don't defend those who genuinely do. I think you can see where I'm aiming at. This is not the typical bash those who like or don't like Trump post.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@abe182: Abe. You never like what anyone has to say. That is YOUR problem. Seriously. Archie made her comment answered you question and you responded just as always. You have an issie eith every answer given to you that does not fit your agenda of ehat it should say.
I am not American, and I don't hate Mr. Trump... I am not a fan either...this is not a political question, therefore I allow myself to answer..

A nation always hopes for a mentally educated, respectful, wise, and insightful leader/president... Mr. Trump (as an individual and not a party leader) has so far proven to be none of that... That is probably why they hate him as an individual, rather than the leader of the opposition party...

He is not the only republican president but unfortunately, he is the only one who has been hated so much.
KeanuChrist · 26-30, M
Because there's a difference between hating a group of people and hating an individual. This is common fucking sense.
@abe182: lol that's like waiting until the scam artist has used my credit card to see if he's taken any money

My observation has been they're reacting to Mr. Trump's speech contents during the campaign, such as making allusions that(primarily) Mexican immigrants are drug dealers and murderers, though a few might be alright, or mocking a handicapped reporter during a campaign stop.
Like I said that's my observation.
SW-User
Yes!! Also I did not like Trump long before he became the Republican nominee. Just a personal opinion based on observation of him.
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
So thinking he'll be an awful President is the same as hate?

Did I just imagine the whole Obama was born in Kenya thing? That was not the product of hate at all 👍
actually I am seeing hate on both sides- this is not a guilt free feeling by both parties.
katielass · F
There may be some who actually hate obama, but the polls show more than democrats like the man. I think that speaks volumes. We hate his policies, not the man. The hatred we see for trump is down to the bone hatred and he hasn't screwed anything up yet. the left always hated on the person. think Bush. the right generally just hates the policies.
abe182 · 46-50, M
@Shattered: you said it perfectly!
The dumb is so real. I dont understand why americans hate the very people who actually fight for their rights and try to silence them and stop them from protesting. Its sooo.. anti american and anti constitutionally really. why do republicans love fascists authoritarian ideals so much? do they hate fighting, are they cowards? i dont get it
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@abe182: thinking someone should be in prison is tantamount to hate. Particularly for something non violent. And she's not going to prison anyway. So take your own advice.
do you really think one man or woman causes all your problems or fixes them though? its so silly.. 4 or 8 years and they are responsible for all the hatred and ignorance and war and poverty and racism and all that. nope sorry I dont buy it. Trump cant fix what no one before him has fixed because the problem is money in politics and he just put a bunch of billionaires into his cabinet.. yeah i can totally see them wanting to change the system that makes them rich.. not. You are fighting over puppets put there to distract you from the real laws that get passed, the ones you have absolutely no say in because you cant afford to buy them. You arguing now is them winning
abe182 · 46-50, M
@luckranger71: no sir that is not hate at all.
SW-User
It's really not hate so much as absolute disapproval.

Imagine you were flying from Atlanta to San Francisco and in order to try something new and inventive to help the airline keep to its schedule, it hired a completely inexperienced pilot to fly the plane. Would you want to take the flight? Would you be filled with a sort of panic and fear that you're trapped on a ride you just know is going to end badly?

That's how Trump's detractors feel. There's no validity or invalidity to the sentiment, it's just what we feel and believe to be true. Many of us base this on the man's own personal, public and business histories. Taken in their totality, it's a pretty dismal picture from our perspective. We do fearr for ourselves, for the greater good, for other nations.

Calling the other side whiners, haters, losers, Nazis, racists, etc. does nothing to bridge the gap. We don't "hate Trump to hate Trump," nor are we hypocrites. We have genuine concerns and every single time we're dismissed with a label or insult, those concerns grow.
SW-User
@abe182: Obama was a Harvard constitutional law instructor, a community activist and then a senator before running for president. Trump is the product of inherited wealth, a questionable business record and absolutely no public policy experience.

Are those the two records you're comparing?

@lacsar: Affirmative action, when it's even in play, only gets you in the door. The rest is up to the student. Where were you educated?

The ACA has benefitted more than not, as demonstrated over and over again by things like math and economics. Opinion does not make fact.
Snickerdooodle · 31-35, F
They're a bunch of hypocrites. Simple as that.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Tolerance for all except white indigenous people. March for women's rights, but don't say a word about the rape and sexual assault committed by illegal migrants and "refugees," against western women. They are nothing more than hypocrites.

Why do they hate? They've been brainwashed starting in primary school by the progressive left whose ideology follows the Frankfurt School and Alinsky's rules for radicals. Basically communist/Marxist/ Elites. They call the brainwashed their "Useful Idiots," so whether they know it or not they are being used to turn reality on its head, starting with the destruction of the family.

Soros said the only thing standing in his way for the NWO (New World Order) is America, so he funds most of the SJW organizations.

Cause he's a obvious conman?

The man is the scummiest ever in the Oval Office...chronic liar, misogynist, racist, etc...tho it is mistake to assume every Trump supporter is a closet klansman. I can't speak for other ppl. I dislike the man, but agree with some of his politics.
I don't hate him. I just didn't vote for him.
AnukBinary · M
Do as I say, not as I do! Or you need to be more open minded and think like me😂
SW-User
Being opposed to hatred and intolerance against large and varied groups of people, particularly when that hatred isn't based on any collectively held political stance or harmful social practice, is not the same as being opposed to the idea that sometimes individuals do or say hateful things and it's ok to not tolerate that kind of behavior. This doesn't seem like it should be confusing.
SW-User
Because all Trump supporters are nazi, racist, sexist, incest, uh gender hating kkk members.

I think at least.

///sarcasm for stupid ppl
abe182 · 46-50, M
@Kinevil: hahaha!
Unfortunately I've heard those very things.
SW-User
@abe182: for the record, I completely disagree with you and don't think any of those things about you. I DO think you're generalizing but it happens on both sides of the divide. 😉
abe182 · 46-50, M
@Archiesgirl: 🤗 I don't think those things about you either.

The love that overly political types have for their cause is like that of a cult:advance our morally superior cause by any means necessary, up to and including wanton illegality. The rest of this shit is just ill. Crying when a politician leaves office...sorry, I never will. I cried when my aunt passed away and when Lennon got killed.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
And you are a perfect example of why people care so much..
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@JaggedLittlePill: I am certainly not talking about someone who is passionate. Sounds like you are far,far from the people who would actually harm another for a belief.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@uncalled4: absolutely not. I dont believe that would do me any good. I just want to be heard and I do not want to be put down for having emotions.
I appreciate your comment!
