the revenant

how many people really appreciate this movie ? the cinematography is so unique and new and next level. you have to watch it on a big high definition screen to really see it. the first time i saw it i watched it on a laptop and i hated it , i thought it was tedious. but i watched it again on a high definition tv screen with good sound system and it was like meditative to watch it . i hope they will make more movies like that in the nearest future.

Yeah.
The natural lighting did amazing things, and Leo's portrayal of a man that lost everything and just wants revenge was without a doubt the best thing I've seen that year.
And it was so gritty and partly even disgusting that I felt dirty while watching it.
Deserving of its awards.

The cinematography was good but I found the who.e thing a dreadful bore. Dicaprio won an Oscar for grunting and little else

Yeah, I enjoyed it! Not so much for the production but just because it was a good movie.
