I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

Wow - ok - this is now twice in a row my text has been deleted... First I was typing and it just decided to reload the page all of a sudden - after I had written about 3 pages of text. No worries, it's not like I edit and put a lot of effort in while I type and create my writings. (Cough - sarcasm)
Then I type up an explanation of my disappointment, then I get told that I must choose a subject for my writing to appear beneath. So I choose "I have a suggestion for similar worlds" and guess what? It erases it again!

The title thing is messed up - it should not make it reload or go under specific titles...

Hello,

I believe this is an iPhone/Safari's issue.
Could you please confirm something for us?

Please go to your phone Settings and find "Background App Refresh".
Do you have this enabled or is it disabled?

If it is enabled, can you please try disable and let us know if that resolves your problem?

Very kind regards,
Nuno

From my experience a reload only happens after an update. I'll ask the admins if that can be avoided.

You should be able to select a group without refreshing though. If you type a few keywords and pick a group from the suggestions, your text will be kept. Only clicking Browse Groups will bring you to another page. I'll ask if they can add a warning for that like when clicking other links.

Posting stories without selecting a group is unlikely to happen because the groups are what makes them easy to find for people with similar interests.

Just to note:
- When we do an update, the full reload only happens when the user clicks on a link to change the page. (I don't think this is the problem in this case)
- When you begin a post, there is a warning that prevents you to lose all your changes if you click on a link. I tested and it works on iPhone.
- Unfortunately, though, Safari seems to ignore that warning if you press Reload on the browser. It works well on other browsers.

Indeed it does, and hopefully it will also be improved upon. Thus improving the experience of users and making the website more attractive to use, causing additional traffic and thereby income for the operators. It's called constructive criticism, and it's a big proponent of positive change.
