2027 Rugby World Cup Draw

The 2027 Rugby World Cup will be the largest yet, with the competition expanded from 20 to 24 teams to give emerging nations a place on the biggest stage of them all. It means that six pools of four have been created, with some eye-catching clashes being thrown up in the draw.

Most notably, hosts Australia will open the tournament against New Zealand having been drawn in Pool A together, with debutants Hong Kong China also drawn in the same pool.

Here's how the pools look in full:

Pool A: New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Hong Kong China

Pool B: South Africa, Italy, Georgia, Romania

Pool C: Argentina, Fiji, Spain, Canada

Pool D: Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay, Portugal

Pool E: France, Japan, USA, Samoa

Pool F: England, Wales, Tonga, Zimbabwe
