Wales played with plenty of heart but it's tough against a bigger and more skillful team.

England is the hardest to predict.

France or Ireland will probably win.

@Burnley123 France are probably the best side, but given their away fixtures it's probably a toss up with Ireland. After that again a toss up between Scotland and England. And 5th and 6th decided between Wales and Italy.
So expect it to end up very different from above! The 6N always provides surprises. Can't believe I used to play rugby and revel in the collisions.

@22Michelle I think you are probably about right. I have Ireland as slight favourites because of the fixtures, though they are not quite as good as they were two years ago. France has the best players.

It's not impossible for Scotland to win it but their pack doesn't have the power to muscle up over a whole tournament.

England's average level is similar to Scotland but it depends which England team turns up.

I'm sorry to @TheSirfurryanimalWales but having Italy away makes the wooden spoon hard to avoid.

@Burnley123 I agree on France and Ireland. And England and Scotland will depend on injuries, cards, etc. Scotland have been beating England in recent years, and Scotland have already lost some of their top players.I don't see England as being one of the top three sides, but they have strength in depth which could give them the edge.
I know I'm writing off Wales and Italy, and on form etc., I think I'm right, but as before the 6N serves up surprises. One of them could sneak up to fourth, but I think that's about as far as they might go. Of course thst means England or Scotland dropping down to fifth.
Anyway, fingers crossed the games live up to billing.
