What are your predictions for the Rugby World Cup Quater-Finals?

The unfairness of the draw sucks but it does have one advantage. Normally a first-seed vs second-seed match is only semi-competitive but this time all the best four teams are playing each other, as are the second-best four teams. Each game is hard to predict and likely to be really close.

Personally, I think that the northern hemisphere team is a slight favourite in each game. The most likely thing would be two or three northern teams getting to the semis but literally anything can happen. It will be fascinating.

@Bumbles It's pretty much it lol. The same with cricket.

There is only one team sport that is truly a worldwide game and we all know what that it.

@Burnley123 However only Rugby Union is played in Heaven. Roundball in Hell obviously.....way too many sinners play and follow that.
@Burnley123 Speaking of Rugby and Canada I always got the vibe that Rugby in other countries like the UK had more of a working class vibe.

Here in Canada it is very aristocratic. The public high schools (as in state run schools. I know it means something else in England) we have football.

Rugby teams tend to be the boarding schools equivalent to places like Eton in the UK.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow No, Rugby Union is very much a middle class or upper middle class sport, even more than cricket is. Football is working class and rugby league is very working class.

In Wales and NZ rugby union is a game for everyone. In all other places, it's a game for the professional classes upwards.
@Burnley123 Good to know.
