Official documents may record him as female, such as the birth certificate (issued in 2018!), and the passport which is what the IOC is allowing to pass as proof.
If the IBA tests were falsified/disputed, why did Khelif not appeal? The Centre Of Arbitration for Sport sanctioned the labs that conducted the tests. Are they colluding with Russians too? For what purpose?
Plus the evidence of our own eyes. Compare any two female boxers of the same weight class and they will be more or less closely matched. Look at the height advantage, look at the reach. Look at every picture with your own eyes and truthfully say you see a woman. This isn't 'anti Khelif', it's pro fairness and safety.
Through a medical loophole, he is exploiting this error for his own gain at the expense of women.
No woman from Algeria would be touched by another man in this way.
There is a simple sex test performed by a cheek swab. If I'm a woman who states they are falsely accused of being a man, I'm volunteering to take any and all tests available, and making the results public. There isn't even a suggestion of this happening... why do you think that is?
@helsbels thats exactly it. Why not appeal that decision unless that person knows it to be true. Im sure in time more info will come out and expose him for what he really is. Just another male taking advantage of women
@SW-User And here is the other boxer who is in the wrong category, who is going more under the radar (the one on the left!) It's obscene that he is being allowed to box against a woman.
@helsbels @Torsten Refuted when?😂 Imane was born with a vagina and was assigned female since birth. She grew up being told she can’t box because it’s men’s sport.
Your theory of her being a biological male with undeveloped penis and this is why she was assigned female at birth and what not is not necessarily wrong but has not been proven medically that this is the case for imane.
As for the xy chromosome theory Again not necessarily wrong but that was not proven for imane as the iba does not have good reputation and they did not disclose the methods of their test.
What you are doing is you are bad mouthing imane who was born female grew up female And always competed in female sports In a homophobic conservative right wing country called Algeria From a rural conservative family And making it seem it’s a man pretending to be a woman to win. Do you know how much she lost and trained in order to win? Of course not.
This has nothing to do with wokeness maximum it has to do with actual genetic problems and nothing to do with wokeness and transgenders and all of the lgtbq+ bullshit
@Moon3624 What you are doing is believing what you want to believe 🤷♀️ Where's the evidence for what you claim other than 'that's what they've told us'?
She grew up being told she can’t box because it’s men’s sport. Says people with a vested interest in Khelif winning. And is that proof enough to make someone eligible to compete? Any man can turn up with any kind of hear say story from their childhood if that's all that's needed.
You say yourself... 'not necessarily wrong but unproven'. Do you not think it's right, and worth proving either way before allowing any fights to continue? At the least it's irresponsible, at worst it's wilfully endangering.
Take Khelif out of the equation. I assume you agree that a man should never be allowed to compete against a woman? Whether you agree or not in Khelif's case, there is more than reasonable doubt and it's not been proven one way or another. Given everything, I'm more than comfortable with what the evidence points to but how can you think it's ok when the consequence for if you're wrong is so huge?
What is your opinion on the Taiwanese boxer, is that the Russians too?
@helsbels Y'all went from "gender is what is in your pants" to "gender is just vibes."
SW-User
@BohemianBabe It's hilarious. When the "transvestigators" aren't busy zooming in on crotches, they're assigning people's gender based on vibes. Reminds me of Austin Powers "You have to admit, she is rather mannish!" They're so desperate to see "woke" everywhere even though that has nothing to do with this.
@BohemianBabe Why do none of you ever address ANY of the numerous points I've extensively explained in lots of long replies on this thread? You just go 'but but but the Russians'. What about the CAS? What about no appeal? What about the birth certificate being cited as evidence only being issued in 2018? Why do you not support athletes being sex tested to check eligibility? We have weight restrictions in sport, no-one is going to allow a heavy weight to fight a light weight because they turn up and it says 7lb 9oz on their birth certificate, they get on a scale. If the tests 'aren't to be trusted', fine, do some more. Any lab, any time. They are so cheap and easy. You just climb back on your high horse and pat yourself on the back because you are so blinkered against 'bigotry', you think that's what you're fighting here. Every woman in the Olympics fought and sacrificed to achieve getting there, they deserve fair competition and respect - they are being ignored and gaslit left right and centre. The IOC is allowing 'sex on the passport' as evidence enough. More and more countries are allowing self id, and to change sex on documents (Australia for one). So any man will be able to walk in to women's sport. Killing it.
In the GB marathon, the elite men and women started at the same time. It took 26 seconds for the last man to be ahead of the first woman. Do you believe that it's not going to happen that a no hoper from somewhere will realise they can get podiums and prize money by going in to the women's race? Why are women not entitled to their own protected category of sport?
@helsbels BOTH boxers that are the subject of doubt about their eligibility won every round 5-0 on their way to Gold. No women in any other weight category did that. Not proof of anything on it's own, but how much can you continue to deny that they are an outlier in every way and that the simplest answer is the most likely.
@BohemianBabe There's a transman in the Olympic boxing. No-one has had a word against them for it, because they are fighting in the category that matches the athlete' s sex. Hergi Bacyadan calls himself a man, 'lives like' a man, presents as a man but fights in women's boxing because they are a woman who has taken no drugs to affect that. It's never been 'anti trans', it's about fairness.

If he hasn't taken HRT, then he has no advantage over females. He is still biologically female himself, he just socially presents as a man. So what is the issue?
@BohemianBabe None at all. Just saying it's not 'trans' that's the issue, it's fairness - and always has been. Trans individuals can have any identity they want, but should compete in the classification that matches their sex. A transman is women's sport isn't a problem, a transwoman in women's sport is. (As a general comment, not relating this to the boxing scenario as the two boxers aren't trans). But I keep getting called terf amd anti-trans.
Well it depends. If a biological male takes HRT for like a year, he doesn't have an advantage over females anymore. There are some exceptions depending on the sport, but this is generally the rule. That's why I agree with the IOC regulations. Trans women are only allowed to compete if they have been on HRT long enough depending on the sport they want to compete in.
