@Moon3624 You may not be aware of how anti-trans bigotry has taken off in the US, and Russian propaganda is feeding into it. Conservatives here are primed to be outraged over a fake story like this. They lost on the same-sex marriage issue, and are making up for it by attacking trans people. One thing Trump is campaigning on is "no boys in girls' sports" which under normal circumstances would be a minor issue maybe affecting half a dozen people.

@Moon3624 This is actually really accurate. The strategy that the Right uses is pretty much always the same. They'll point to a problem caused by their own policies, but they'll blame it on the Left, then they'll claim things were so much better before the Leftists took over. Fascism is all about an imagined past where things were great. Fascism also requires a group of people to be designated as the enemy.

So with the modern fascist movement of Trumpism, we see the Right saying things were great before "wokeness", and we need to "make America great AGAIN" without ever really saying when America was great. This is the Fascist pointing to an imagined past that has been destroyed by the new Leftists. And of course, the designated enemies are trans people and immigrants. Everything was great until the Left invented trans rights and immigration, now everything is bad.

The Republicans are trying to make trans visibility and gender care a thing when very few people outside of religious bigots and the parents of trans kids even care about this. I can tell you that the Muslim community in Michigan was moving from the Democrats to the Republicans before Oct. 7 over this, as I'm sure you're aware that observant Muslims aren't exactly trans-friendly. I'm not sure what they're doing now; Trump's unconditional support for Israel probably lost him their vote. That's the only state where Muslims and Arabs have numbers large enough to affect anything.

I've never been to New York other than the airport to change planes when I was flying in from overseas. I grew up in Los Angeles.

Trump has always unconditionally supported israel. In fact it was trump administration that recognized Jerusalem officially as the capital of Israel in 2017 or 2018.

@Moon3624 I don't follow Old Testament law or believe in God. I was raised Jewish and am ethnically Jewish, but haven't been inside a synagogue for at least a decade. My support for Israel has nothing to do with claims that God gave the Jews the land; it has to do with that being the historic Jewish homeland and that Israel has existed for 76 years.

Your solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict is either to kill or exile Israeli Jews, or subjugate them as dhimmis. So you shouldn't be surprised when people of conscience oppose that.

Jews tend to live in cities, so guessing New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago isn't that difficult. My father grew up in Minneapolis so guessing that would have been very lucky.

The US provides Israel with military aid not because Israel is a "parasite." 100% of that aid must be spent back in the US, so it ends up supporting American military contractors. This also means those contractors have a ready market for parts and maintenance that Israel pays for above and beyond the aid they get. It also means the US military is kept in a constant state of readiness instead of having to ramp up production when it's needed. This is why the aid continues, not because of AIPAC or some nefarious Jewish plot to control Congress. You should redirect your hatred of Israel to the American military-industrial complex instead.

I've never been to Israel and don't plan on going until Likud is out of power.
