What do you think about Olympic hammer thrower Gwen Berry turning her back on the US flag and covering her face with an "Activist Athlete" shirt? [I Don't Care About The Olympics]

Hammer thrower Gwen Berry turned away from the American flag during the playing of the national anthem at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Saturday in Eugene, Ore.

Berry, who placed third in the hammer throw Saturday to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics, has been a vocal activist in the lead-up to the trials. When the anthem started, Berry took a turn so she was facing the stands. Toward the end of the anthem, she draped her black T-shirt reading “Activist Athlete” over her head.

Sore loser too. Probably decided beforehand to complain anyway. If people like her hate the country so much they have many other choices of countries to live in. I'm a Latino but you don't hear me complaining about the Mexican-American War 175 years ago and how I should be paid in money and land that was taken. I'm thankful for what this country gave me, but the problem with that is you kinda expect others to feel that way and they don't. I suppose we all make choices in our lives.
