Does anyone else think that the PGA Tour need to start relaxing their dress codes?

I think shorts, EXPECT in major tournaments, should be allowed. In the summer when the golfers play in areas that have higher temperatures and humidity, shorts should be allowed.

Anyone else agree?

I disagree. They are allowed to wear shorts in practice rounds now but for tournament play they should be in pants. Especially with the pants they have today as compared to 20-30 years ago.

I thought shots were allowed, isn’t that what they do when they hit the ball? They are shooting at that little hole in the ground way over there somewhere.

Once you open that door, all kinds of ugly things will come through. I say, keep it formal.

I agree. Most of us play in shorts and short sleeves, I did today.

No. Then the clubhouses will be without a dress code. I don't always agree with the rules but it doesn't hurt anyone to look nice

Even if they played nude it would be too boring to watch.

@MarineBob so you would deny them wearing Parkas and Mukluks in Alaska! 😆

Touching steel would as well be a lovely sight at minus 20! 😆

So no gloves either! 😈

@DeWayfarer seems wearing a parka would effect their game and handicap
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarineBob the whole idea is insane. If you're going to let them play at least make it so they don't kill themselves.
