Polls suggest that NBA baseketball, is the 4th most popular sport in the US, (after NHL hockey), but is the 2nd most reported sport on ESPN.

Is this example affirmative action?

I am serious, though, that the basketball does seem to be the 4th most popular sport in the States, but the 2nd most reported on ESPN.

@Ax17x7: I have no doubt it is, I wonder if thats because of the sweet 16? They tend to ramp up coverage and that particular end of the season tends to last a while. Plus they cover college basketball, and I don't think they cover college football or hockey and whatnot at all really.
