Nobody says shit about the team to beat, the Green and Gold. Your gridiron awareness is so declasse you'd piss down the Lakers or the Yankees rosters.
Stfu.

Umm... I'm gonna go with yes on that. ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ

Right might as well show yourself as a hater of any of the most successful franchises in every mega fan sport.

Uh.... I'm not a sports fan, dawg.... I don't even know if packers are basketball or hockey!! ᶘ ͡°ᴥ͡ °ᶅ

Yeah, me either. I just like reading the words the greatest leaders ever spoke. Excellence can be called down, but it won't make you a strong leader. It's better to admire and learn from it as if it were perfection, far as you're concerned. You can never reach perfection but if you strive to learn from it you can make yourself a winner. I might not be one, but I have always striven to be first in whatever interests me. And win.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Noahkahol: the greatest leaders ever? You're a fucking idiot if you think any football player is even close to being one of the greatest leaders ever.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick: Not particularly, my south side friend. I do know one thing tho. You can't win greater confidence by focusing on defeatism. And show me a good loser. I'll show you a loser. lol
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Noahkahol: South side friend? I don't live on the south side of anything. What are you talking about?

Your comment didn't make any sense. I didn't talk about good losers. I said there's never been a football player who was one of the world's greatest leaders.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick: All of Chicago and Milwaukee is beginning to merge into one urbanic sprawl. In a few more decades the Lakeshore will be completely filled in. You live at the southern end of it.

Thats where you're wrong. The Packers have taken enough Super Bowls to know that. All men must win battles to be leaders. And no leader is one who cannot win a battle. Battles determine everything.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Noahkahol: You're missing the point. Look at all the great leaders the world has had. A bunch of roided out tattooed shitheads playing a sport are not among those great leaders. Especially a team from Wisconsin, which consists of nothing but northern redneck alcoholic dairy farmers.

No Chicago and Milwaukee are definitely not "one urbanic sprawl." Having driven to Milwaukee before, I know this for certain. They're two very separate cities.

@BlueMetalChick: LOL what in the world. The Green Bay Team, in fact.. all NFL teams are made up of men from various locations and College level teams throughout the US. As college grads with stock portfolios and great paychecks, the physical and psychological demands of their performances both on game day and during preparation is extreme to the extremist. As is the celebrity status of their work both on and off camera.

I was travelling between Milw. And Chi. since the 1950s when the Racine / Kenosha and Waukegan / Gurney townships were a long drive from the 2 lane blacktop and it took me 3 hours to get there. I can get in my car from Where I am near West Bend and be in Chicago in about an hour now. Flying the lakeshore between these two "seperate and distinct cities" at night in a commercial plane I notice that there weren't any more unlit dark zones since about 10 years ago. I'm a good 30 miles north Mitchell field these days, and where it was once farm country is now thick with business traffic all day long.

Waukesha residents, 25 miles west of Milwaukee once said the same thing you now say. But, there are no more vacant areas between Milw. and there either.
And to be sure, people scooting that 8 lane tollway at 80-85 mph in both directions, the distance gap really isn't all that much anymore between us.

You'll get what I mean when you reach my age, I think.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Noahkahol: Oh! And is that why they all have reputations for being cheaters in schools, drunks, drug addicts, embezzlers, wife beaters, crashing their sports cars while driving wasted, buying and selling guns, committing rape, having gay sex with underage boys, and most any other crime you can name? Because they're college graduates with stock portfolios! Of course, that's why.

By your logic, New York and New Jersey are all one city with no differences between them. Do you not realize that the presence of developed urban areas between two cities does not make them one city? I guess Two Rivers and Manitowoc are the same city too then, right? And so are St. Paul and Minneapolis.

You're in your late fifties and you think sports players are the greatest leaders the world has ever seen? You should have changed that mindset long ago, but you're about three decades too late. I don't think I'll get progressively more stupid as I near your age and suddenly think a group of Mongoloids playing ball are the "world's greatest leaders."
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick: I think it is terrible that some players are bordering on super criminality too. Through the history of it all there has been and still are mostly players of higher than average standards. I guess it depends on which group you focus on the most. The news media pays little attention to the good men, that's true.

One more fact. I am by no measure a mindless fan of any sport. It seems odd that anyone could even know about me just a bit and reach such a conclusion just because I stick up for good role models and mentoring. So there's that.

I think I understand where our difference in opinion is now. About city. Civic pride in ones location and a jealous protecting of it's unique styles and population makes lots of sense to someone who doesn't city hop a lot. I agree with you there so far as our differing povs. I was speaking more in general terms. I seemed to upset you and I wasn't meaning to do that.
