Oof, the Wimbledon tennis Ladies final just now.. Nasty

@OlderSometimesWiser Still, she made the Wimbledon final. Not many people do that. It was shades of Novotna all those years ago anbd then she came back to win acouple years later so, good luck to Anisimova and well gone Swiatek.

@Hopelandia Yes, still a great accomplishment and hopefully on better days she’ll gain that perspective but right now she probably wants to crawl under a rock. And humiliated in front of all those tennis dignitaries and Princess Kate! It’s like that nightmare where you’re out in public totally naked. 😳

But Swiatek did have a tough year and some bageled sets as well so she was certainly deserving of the title.

Don’t think we’ll be seeing anything like this tomorrow with Sinner and Alcarez. Though after the French Open loss, Sinner’s gonna be out for blood. 🦈
