How odd, Imane Khelif has withdrawn from a boxing competition immediately after it announced that all competitors must have mandatory sex testing (administered via a cheek swab), to check eligibility in to their category 🤔

You'd think this boxer would welcome the chance to prove to the world 'she' is not a man.

So many problems in the world, but Thank God one trans boxer is now not allowed to compete in a sport they have dedicated their whole lives to.

The world is a better place now.

@SW-User Fairness and safety to put it bluntly, that's the 'obsession'. I don't want scenarios like the one at the last Olympics to happen again. People drew attention to this beforehand. They were called all kinds of names. I'm pleased that as a result, a mechanism has been put in place to ensure that men will not be put in the boxing ring with women. Isn't that something you agree with, and think is worthwhile?

@helsbels .Why don't you want scenarios like this? There was never a problem with Khelif in the first place. Khelif had competed in many competitions as a woman going back to 2018. It was never a problem. Why is it now? Has sport become too "woke" for you?

@helsbels Look, the fact remains that she was born and registered female, and no evidence that she has XY chromosomes has been published. The only "new evidence" is fevered speculation.
