What would cause more of a social uproar?

If it was confirmed that all Abrahamic religions are all falsified and based off of something else entirely and most of what people believe about them are completely made up..

OR

If it was confirmed that all professional sports are rigged to a certain degree and that important games of any series are choreographed with intended outcomes and sports like basketball, soccer, golf etc. use magnets to control the ball?

What would cause the most amount of people to act completely different the next day? Are there more people that are very religious to the extent that is affects their practices? Or are there more people that really care about a professional sport/sports?

There might be more adults that care about religion but there are more young people in love with sports that don't find religion that important yet
