I keep telling my kid’s soccer coach to go hard on him because he needs the motivation on the field..

He won’t do it! All the coaches are super nice and don’t even yell at the kids. I don’t get it, is this no longer allowed?

Every sport I was in had coaches that would spit fire and demand the best!!

Put him in a competitive league instead of just a recreational league

{@quetzalcoatlus ] can understand you want to be proud of your son and see him achieve his potential on the field . have you ever thought it might not be laziness on your sons part it may be genuine lack of empathy for what he is doing . far as shouting at him that is not or never the way to encourage or motivate anyone may have the reverse affect and could been classed as bullying

If Coach won't do it you should. Coach is probably just cautious about all the talk about toxic masculinity and how sensitive the kids have become these days

Don't worry -- I'm sure your kid will appreciate his "Participation" trophy.
Sports is guaranteed to harden your boys.
