Good news but that new division better not be paid for out of people's taxes. I'm not supporting these sick people
JestAJester · 31-35, M
Would be odd for them to have their own division considering they are a minority group. I mean a tiny tiny percentage of the population. Just can't get enough special treatment can they
Torsten · 36-40, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout great episode haha. Who knew men cant play board games that well? haha
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@Torsten i did. I suck at them. Especially monopoly, fuck that game
Torsten · 36-40, M
@JestAJester haha fuck Monopoly. Nothing ruins friendships like that damn game

"I'm a feminist, I fight for women's rights. I also can't define "woman" and think that men should compete with them in sports."
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@SinlessOnslaught almost had me then i saw the quotation marks haha
Fairness? A picture is indeed worth 1000 words.

As for a trans division...good luck with that.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BizSuitStacy couldn't agree more
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@BizSuitStacy Wtf? Are you not trans? You once identified as such, I remember.
@Theyitis No I did not. It's irrelevant regardless. The topic is about whether it's fair for a MtoF trans athlete to compete in women's sports. And it's not. In any sporting event where size, speed or strength are key factors in winning, males have a distinct advantage over females. There are studies that have been completed and the biology is pretty simple. After a males goes through puberty, they produce far more testosterone than women leading to a skelatal and muscular structure that provides this advantage. Even if the athlete then decides to change gender and uses testosterone blockers and takes estrogen, they still have an inherent physical advantage of initial development. And the body of a MtoF trans athlete will still continue to produce more testosterone than that of a woman. If the participation of MtoF trans athletes continues to perpetuate itself in women's sports, then MtoF's will unfairly dominate in certain events. That's just science.

Have you considered a hobby?
This is like the umpteenth post you have complaining about transwomen.
Personally I like bowling, but you do you.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Stargazer89 sure it is mate
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@basilfawlty89 Who are you talking to?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Stargazer89 Can you speak on your experience as to when you chose to be straight? Enquiring minds want to know 👀
Slade · 56-60, M
They still can make the men's division which is what they are

@Theyitis I am a fan of fair competition. I enjoy womens tennis for sure. Swimming in general not so much but fairness should still completely be in place.
TexChik · F
@Theyitis Trans have no business competing with women. Just more liberal lunacy
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@Theyitis they have the same rights as any other us citizen. Yall want extra. You wanna be special, to stand out.
TexChik · F
They need...A league of their own
TexChik · F
@Torsten They won't like it because they wont have any advantage
Torsten · 36-40, M
@TexChik that is why they left the male division of course. Being mediocre in mens divisions and at the top in womens. that should say it all there
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@TexChik theres no crying in baseball!!
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
If an 18 yr. old golden gloves boxer identified as a pre-pubescent female, should he be allowed to fight 10 yr. old girls in the ring?
@Nitedoc Slippery slope fallacy.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@BohemianBoo Sounds absurd doesn't it? Twenty years ago letting men compete against women in certain sports would be laughed at. Now look what's happening in sports.

yeah. thing is it's also unfair for men and women who competes. even in other things. sharing the restroom for instance. it makes me uncomfortable to have to share it with people in lgbtq community.

if some people want to be different and still fit in, i think there should be rules too that caters to every one's comfort.

people born as women and those born as men have different strengths. i support feminism (like in job opportunities and salaries and stuff) but there are just some things that are there by nature. trying to go against it will give advantage/disadvantage that could cause trouble in judging with fairness
Ahahaha! You deleted my comment debunking your lies?
BETA MALE! BEEEEEETAAAA!!!
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@BohemianBoo i dont think they nor do i even care anymore to entertain your little charade. You can go sit at the childrens table and let the adults talk like a good boy

*sigh*
This is incredibly frustrating and difficult.
Caster Semenya an intersex woman is facing this challenge.
It's incredibly difficult to make this stick when you're in a minority.
Because would it really be a fair competition?

All I can say is in the event that more transgendered/intersexed join sports and compete together in their own category, the stigma should go and the support from their community and allies will grow.

We now live in a low tolerance discrimination world, although in the past people may have worried about losing support and sponsorship you can't drop someone anymore without good reason.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Mellowgirl I dont want any one to be excluded. I think their own division would be great and like you said, The hate would lessen for them and support would grow and grow.
Activists like to say its transphobes and what not only fighting against this but that just is not true. Those same people also claim to support equal rights for women yet they will constantly put their rights at the back of the line for others they feel is more oppressed.
It is the activists I feel that have caused so much hate, not trans people themselves and Their own division where women are left to have fair competition and trans people are not excluded. Its a win win

The cynical part of me thinks that you can't transgender to a woman and not expect to be marginalised and ignored like other women.
Chelsiegirl · 46-50, T
I dont think there is enough trans people to compete with each other. also the ones who play sports are far and few between.. so if that happens.. ill always win at my own event since i will be the only one playing..
