Bethany Hamilton is a surfer and she's most famous cuz on Halloween day in 2003 when she was just 13 she was attacked by a shark and lost her left arm. But Hamilton didn't let that stop her!
She came back to surfing just 26 days after the attack and entered her first tournament just 71 days after losing her arm! She won a lot of surfing competitions in the years after, while placing in the top 10 in a bunch of others.
Today she's 31 years old and a wife and mother of three boys. She's tall (5'11") and athletic and beautiful and strong and a fighter.
