@MrBlueGuy We...can't play the Leafs this year though 🤨 Canadian teams aren't able to play American teams due to travel restrictions on account of COVID. That's why the league redid the divisions.

@MrBlueGuy It might not be until next season though. I mean, we're doing great but we're still in a rebuild so I kinda doubt we'll go to the playoffs. But wtf you never know. Besides, once Dach and Toews are back that might make all the difference.

@BlueMetalChick yeah, feel that. Give me Toronto/Detroit or Chicago any day. The all Canadian division is actually pretty fun right now but it feels like a short term gimmick, I'll get tired of it if it goes more than one season

@Deadwait like most Toronto fans, I have a bit of a hate on for the Canadiens, but if we're going to lose, I'd rather it be to them than some punk-ass expansion team whose fans don't even understand the offside rule

@Deadwait I have a family problem with the city of Detroit, that started with a Redwings rivalry over thirty years ago. I don't fucking play when it comes to people from Motor City. I'll put a goddamn three fifty two in someone's sinus cavity if I have to.

@BlueMetalChick OK, I won't step in there, that sounds more personal. I guess my bigger point is that I miss games against teams that I hate, because they are more fun to watch. I would move things around to see the leaf play montreal because i just needed to know. when they play vancouver, calgary carolina, etc, I find myself giving less fucks, it's only about points in the standings rather than needing to know that they beat them

@Deadwait Well there is something fun to a rivalry game. Like, a win is a win but it's especially satisfying to win against a rival. You ain't wrong there.
