How come football is so unpopular and so obscure on this site?

I'm not really a football fan myself but it's only the most popular sport of all. Was Similar Worlds set up especially for people who don't like football to get away from it?

@RichieRich i suppose football is a hot topic with different people supporting different teams there is room for difference of opinions and name calling almost like the sport version of politics on here
