How bad can things get for Man Utd?

The problems mount and their being twelth in the premiership doesn't feel like a fluke.

They are one of the richest clubs in the world so surely there should be a solution but what can they do?

They need to get a new manager with a winning record like Pochettino, no wait 馃

@SW-User Getting a Portuguese manager with a track record? That'll work.

Seriously though, I think Poch would improve them and I also think he's sick of Spurs. Sorry Spurs fans.

@Burnley123 I think its a little bit early to write them off completely, though I don't think Solskjaer will be there long. I remember Man Utd winning the first 10 games of the season under Atkinson, Liverpool won the league.

@SW-User Utd problems run deep though. I also think the strength of united a city is deep.

@Burnley123 what top player wants to go to United now they can't attract them,

@Burnley123 It would be a step down for Poch!
(& I hate spurs).

@Burnley123 They do, but it's not lack of money or hiring succesful managers. They went through a similar slump after Busby and didn't really fix it till Ferguson. Liverpool are only just coming out of a similar slump, only taken 28 years.

@Nyloncapes I think united need to stop buying ready made veterans and go for young guns and players with heart. Their pre season signings were pretty decent but not enough and they let players go. Their squad has no decent backup in midfield or attack.

@SW-User Its hard to replace a dynastic manager. However, I think Arsenal are handling it better. Not perfectly but better.

@Burnley123 I'd be much happier to see Arsenal strugglinng 馃槀

@Harriet03 True, but there are only so many super clubs and you rarely get a job option unless there are problems.

I think Poch is increasingly pissed off at Spurs. I'd be surprised to see him next year there and he might even take time out if football.

@Burnley123 United had chance to sign klopp but never , there all great managers when they got millions to spend, foden has to leave man city to further his career what do you think
Burnley12341-45, M
@Nyloncapes I agree with you on Foden but they won't let him leave.

The champions league have rules for minimum home grown players and City have very few of those so need Foden in the squad. He's got so much talent ahead of him though.

He's learnt all he can training with great ayers and now needs a season lo e to a Bundesliga side or something. Doubt hell get that though.
Nyloncapes61-69, M
@Burnley123 yes he needs regular football to break into England squad sando is a good example at Dortmund
Burnley12341-45, M
@Nyloncapes Exactly

@Nyloncapes 'United had chance to sign klopp but never' - first I've heard of that.
Nyloncapes61-69, M
@RodionRomanovitch yes they did
RodionRomanovitch56-60, M
@Nyloncapes Klopp was on a sabattical when Liverpool snagged him.
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch Are you daring to dream about the title?
RodionRomanovitch56-60, M
@Burnley123 When we're eight clear with two left to play I'll start dreaming.
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch lol. The Guardiola City team will probably never start a league campaign as badly. This is your shot.
RodionRomanovitch56-60, M
@Burnley123 If they don't sort their defence out they will keep dropping points. And they will be at Anfield soon enough too.
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch They badly miss Laporte. I don't think either team will get the points total they did last time but I know think Liverpool are favourites.
