England scored 15 in their 1 over
NZ, 16 to win

@Gusman Whoever wins this deserves it, but whoever loses doesn't deserve to. Incredible stuff from both sides.

@jomsim @Gusman as an Englishman I have to say obviously I wanted England to win and so happy they did. But it was hard luck in NZ esp the boundary overthrow off the diving bat but that's the game. Mad game best I've ever seen even possibly over shadows the great 2005 Ashes series

@SW-User Shows how many ways a side can win. Script writers would not have been able to come up with a more exciting finish.

@Gusman no one of those real life ones where as a script writer you pitch...

"So last over they run 2 as coming back his bat accidentally hit the ball for 4 over throws. Last ball final wicket run out so tie to force super over. Final ball super over run out tying scores so it is count back on boundaries.
What d'ya think boss?"

"Can you make it a bit more realistic. I mean that would never happen in any match let alone a world Cup final"

@SW-User I think this is the game that has finally made cricket appeal to me. I know it's not always like this, but I do now understand where the excitement lies.

@jomsim This game was an exceptional finish. A rare instance of variables came into play.
Close run chases are always exciting.
