The gender gap is closing even on male dominated areas like strength. Agreed that strong guys always will beat a strong girl pound for pound, but there is a greater crossover than ever before. Attached poll is for how old that woman was when she proved your equal.
@pagandad I wasn't trying to imply that you are secretly weak and incapable, I was just pointing out the thinly-veiled truth I could see in your answer, the fact that you don't want to admit that women are perfectly capable of being as strong as men (if not even stronger). The Vietnam Wat (watever that is) has no bearing on it watsoever.
It is not just about brute strength. When I was in my late teens I took martial arts pretty seriously. My sparing partner was a foot taller, had a long reach and outweighed me but had no idea how to use it to his advantage. My friend Lisa who was tall and maybe 100lbs and her thighs were the size of my forearms. And she routinely kicked my ass.
Yeah... ahem. I got whupped by a girl at age 13 (summer I turned 14)... so yeah... it happens, though admittedly long ago. Makes for a humorous story now. Lol.
@Wrestlegrrl The last time she was as strong or stronger? When I was in college; she was a 6’0” volleyball player and very fit! But I’ve been beaten plenty since then (though I win far more often). It’s not as much about stregth many times as speed, skill, and sometimes just luck or mistakes made by an opponent during a match.
